At The Redd Studio, your privacy is not an afterthought — it is a commitment. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through theredd.studio (the "Site"), how we use it, and what rights you have over it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

The Redd Studio is an independent, one-person design studio operated by Syed Abdul Saboor as a sole proprietor, based in India. We are responsible for the personal data collected through this Site.

2. Information We Collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. We only collect:

• Information you give us through the contact form — such as your name, email address, and the details of your message.

• Booking information — when you schedule a call through our embedded Cal.com scheduler, the information you provide to book that call.

• Anonymous usage data — through Framer Analytics, which gives us aggregate, privacy-friendly statistics like page views, referrers, and general device or browser type. This does not build a personal profile of you and does not rely on invasive tracking cookies.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not collect sensitive personal information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your enquiries, scope and deliver projects, schedule and prepare for calls, and understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. That is it — no spam, and no selling your data to anyone.

4. Legal Basis

We process your information under India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the associated SPDI Rules, 2011, and in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Our processing is based on your consent (for example, when you submit the contact form) and our legitimate interest in running the studio and responding to you.

5. Third Parties We Rely On

To run this Site we use a small number of trusted service providers, who process data on our behalf:

• Framer — hosts the Site and provides its built-in analytics. See Framer's Privacy Policy.

• Cal.com — powers the scheduling widget used to book calls. See Cal.com's Privacy Policy.

We share data with these providers only as needed to operate the Site and our services. We never sell it.

6. Cookies

The Site itself is designed to be light on cookies, and Framer Analytics is privacy-friendly. Embedded third-party tools, such as the Cal.com scheduler, may set their own cookies when you interact with them — please refer to their policies for details.

7. Data Retention

We keep the information you send us only for as long as we need it to respond to you or deliver a project. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it by law.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time, as provided under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where applicable, visitors in the EU, UK, or California may also have rights under the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise any of these, just email syed@theredd.studio.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Site and our services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
